Three out of every five individuals have a business/ an idea whether primarily or secondarily. That's a whooping 959 million people in Africa. In 2019, TEF reported that Africa has the highest percentage of entrepreneurs among working-age adult than in any other continent in the world both male and female.
And about 70% of these business fail/stagnant within couple of years. And company's size doesn't create immunity from failing. As a matter of fact, it takes much more to create and maintain a big business than a small one. However, in most cases both businesses are created for both independence and survival and while some for impact.
